I was just sending an email and noticed that outlook had not updated for over an hour. I restarted the system and then had the system hang with the Runtime Broker slowing the system. I searched on line and the suggestion was to stop the runtime broker and reboot. I did that and now Outlook will not start as there is a problem with the ost file. This particular email address is an exchange account. This is the second time in four months that Outlook has damaged it file and the last time I was told to create a new account - this is the new account and now it is failing. I was already having to click on "UNREAD" to get the sync with exchange - if i did not do that then what ever I did to the new email was not in sync with exchange and I would have to delete any unwanted emails a second time. This was what was happening the first time that I lost the ost file. There is a problem with Outlook 2016 and exchange!!! Do I delete the ost file again???
