OS (C:) disk being converted to dynamic

Hello,Recently, I was looking around the control panel, stupidly clicking buttons I didn't know much about when I realised I had converted my Disk containing the "OS" part into a dynamic disk. I've heard this is bad and can corrupt this disk, and would like to know if this claim is true, and how I could change it back to a basic disk (preferably for free). I can no longer turn on Bitlocker Drive Encryption (unsure whether this is linked) and some other things such as a slower computer or other issues have appeared (also unsure whether this has any relation).Thanks in advance,
