So basically, I am building a new PC, as my current PC is quite old. Currently I have windows 10 on a mechanical hard drive that I will be transferring to the new PC. Assuming that goes smoothly, I will then be transferring everything from the HDD to an SSD. So my question is, would it make any difference if I already have the blank SSD installed on the mobo when first booting up from the HDD or should I boot from the HDD first (get windows reactivated, drivers updated/installed, etc.) and then install the SSD?
