open ics files in google calendar

I have Windows 11 and the Office 2016 suite. I have been using my Outlook calendar for many years and now want to begin using Google Calendar exclusively. The problem is that whenever I am on a website and click on "Add to calendar" it immediately opens my Outlook calendar. I want it to open my Google Calendar. I have tried the process to associate a .ics file type in Windows, but unfortunately this process want you to select an application and Google Calendar is not an application, it's a URL.Thank you in advance.
