OOB experience with Windows Pro - can't log in with work account after system went to password screen

Purchased new system OOB with Windows Pro. Set up with work email and was using computer just fine until it went to sleep and upon trying to use again asked me for a password. It will not allow me to log in. I have changed password and tried restart with command prompt. I cannot get into computer at all to make any adjustments or try programs.
