ONEDRIVE is DRIVING me crazy . . . I can't get rid of it. PLEASE HELP!

I have a hotmail account for my windows 11 machine. I have unlinked Onedrive from my computer by clicking on it in the system tray and following the settings to unlink it. It no longer shows up in my system tray. I uninstalled it from my machine. It does not show up in the installed apps in settings. I thought I had removed it, but when I went to use the snipping tool, and tried to save my snip, I noticed it was saving to my desktop IN ONEDRIVE. I did not realize this, and deleted everything in Onedrive . . . WHICH DELETED ALL OF MY FILES ON MY DESKTOP. I stupidly emptied my Onedrive re
