Onedrive has just synced all of the desktop icons from my laptop over to my pc and also just completely removed a bunch of files aswell

i was trying to view some images on my desktop, i was told that there was a syncing issue and when i fixed that and tried opening them again, onedrive synced every desktop icon from my laptop to my pc and removed a bunch of pre existing ones aswell, it also removed the images i was trying to view in the first place
