Onedrive got deleted and a lot of my pictures and game saves are gone with it.

I was clearing out data to make room on my C drive and my friend told me to delete OneDrive and said it was some xbox thing I'd never use. I tried to launch Fallout New Vegas and it wouldn't launch, looked online and everyone was saying it was a OneDrive issue, so I reinstalled it on my E drive and all my saves from this year are gone, I also found out that OneDrive was the thing holding a lot of my pictures and videos. I have it again on my E drive and its been "loading" for quite some time now. Is there any way I can get my games saves and pictures back?
