onedrive folder deleted on laptop leading to data loss

[Windows 11]

Onedrive was taking a lot of space on C drive. I uninstalled it. However it continued to take up space on C;: I deleted the Onedrive folder but that has deleted all the data on the laptop. I cant find the data. Please help me recover the data
