OneDrive camera roll folder is empty on windows

I have onedrive on my android phone signed in and automatically backs up photos to a camera roll folder on Onedrive. But when I access the same folder on onedrive on my PC, it says the folder is empty. Yes I am signed in to the same account on both devices. Yes it is set to upload automatically. It even says Camera backup complete and has a green tick on the android app. Yes I am connected to wifi on both devices and have been for the past month. Looking at these screenshots, the drive as a whole just looks like a completely different set of files. What on earth is going on?!
