I have a Dell 1320C network printer connected to my BT Homehub router.
I have two PC's both running Windows7, one a desktop is connected via cable into the hub and prints fine.
the other a laptop connects wirelessly but does not print although internet and file sharing is ok.
If I look at the hub status page it shows the desktop PC, the printer and the laptop as connected.
From the Laptop I can ping the printer, I can see its Dell status page and when I send a print job I get a popup message saying the job has been sent, but the printer never starts and the job appears stuck in the print queue with the status 'printing'. However on the Dell printer status page there are no pending jobs shown.
I have removed the printer device and reinstalled, I have deleted the printer drivers and downloaded and reinstalled, I have tried stopping and starting the print spooler service all to no avail. In properties it shows as being on NtwkPort00 on both machines.
Any suggestions on what might be causing it? or what to try next?
thanks.
