One Drive - Remove or Restore

I just got a new laptop running Windows 11. I keep getting this message from One Drive saying, "You recently deleted X number of files out of your OneDrive folder on this device. Do you want to remove them from One Drive too?" And then it gives me two choices, remove or restore.How about neither? I want to keep them in OneDrive but I do not want them on this computer. Why do I not have that choice and how do I get it to stop asking me?
