On my laptop Copilot Microsoft will not allow me to delete and redownload whatsapp. What should I do?

On Feb 26, 2025, I powered on my Acer laptop and all my desktop settings, preferences and pinned taskbar items were gone. It appears copilot (which is a nuisance to me) was added to my laptop and by so doing changed my laptop configuration whereby deleting or relocated my personal folders. I would like for my laptop settings to be restored to what it was prior to copilot being added to my system.Also, I have not been able to open WhatsApp application.
