I am not tech-savvy but I manage to follow directions after decades of using computers; therefore, I installed a couple of months ago, fast and effortlessly, Windows 11 in my "approved" 2019 laptop. Everything was working fine until I got the first ever blue screen (which also happens in Windows 10). The culprit: "ddflt.sys failure." Following reliable tech suggestions, I performed several possible fixes--too many to mention which included installing all Windows Updates, pending or suggested.
