I have an old external HDD Iomega with a Seagate drive ST3320820A. It works perfectly well connected to an old PC already too slow that I wish to discard.

However when HDD is connected to a new PC it is not recognized. It seems the HDD doesn't exist. It should be noted that both PC's, old and new have same Windows 10.

In the old PC the HDD is seen in Windows and in diskpart, files can be written there, trasnferred, no problem at all.

In the new PC it is completely ignored, not seen in Windows or diskpart.

Old PC has a Gygabyte mobo GA-G31M-S2L.

New PC has an Asus mobo Prime B250M-A.

I have searched the Net but could not find a similar problem.

Anyone can help?

Thank you.
