Office 365 ProPlus Inbox Cleanup not working

I love the Inbox Cleanup tool in Outlook and use it regularly. It stopped working for me about two weeks ago. It appears to run, with "Cleaning up Inbox" in the status bar, but doesn't actually clean up any messages although it does not terminate with "No messages were cleaned up". My Office build is 10730.20348 Click-to-Run (Semi-annual Channel).

I don't see anything in the forums that would indicate that this is a known issue. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot. Does this action create log files or reg entries? Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
