We are looking to connect our current Microsoft Office Pro Plus 365 (Desktop) customer database which uses Access 2013 to a Voice Over Internet phone system which is yet to be chosen. The Voice Over Internet system will operate over fiber-optic cable.
The Current System
The Access Database includes a number of forms where customer phone numbers can be clicked and the Microsoft Auto Dialer dials the number through a 56k voice/fax/data modem to call the customer. The database uses VBA.
What We Want
We want the database to connect with Voice Over Internet with the same ability to call any phone number in New Zealand as well as any phone number in the world that is stored on the Access Database. Additionally we want the Access Database to access the Caller ID phone number of incoming calls, so this incoming phone number can be used to open the customer form with the matching phone number.
We don't need advanced features such as video or conference calls.
