Maybe I'm missing something, but I cannot get Office 2016 Pro Plus to activate via KMS at all.
Our company has a new 365 licenses for all employees that we are migrating to. However the PCs in our conference rooms use generic accounts with no 365 licenses. We currently have our volume licenses 2013 Pro Plus installed activated via KMS. We want to upgrade them to 2016. We did setup our KMS for Office 2016, however when we go to the VL site an download Office 2016 Pro Plus it appears to be a Click-to-run (offline) installer. When you click setup.exe it just runs, installs and then prompts for a 365 login to activate (there is a button to enter in a key too. This is the exact same ISO I pulled form MSDN.
Am I missing something? Shouldn't there be a MSI based Office 2016 Pro Plus ISO I can use to install. Maybe customize with setup.exe /admin? Something that will auto activate to KMS. Or is there something I'm missing using the C2R install/iso from the VL site?
the ISO I'm getting from MSDN and the VL site is: en_office_professional_plus_2016_x86_x64_dvd_6962141.iso
