Hello guys, I had no hope on this but still seeking for help.
one of our company users work with Office 2011 mac version for daily work, one day he moved the office 2011 identity folder for some reason from the original place to a difference one. ( for files clean up purpose)
Then we can expect what he found will be the outlook had no email left, it's easy to find all his online email back since we work with exchange 2010 with his account resetup on the outlook 2011.
The issue is since we provide limited space for exchange users, they do arhchive (move emails to local folders). in this case, I can see his old email folder size is 10.8GB, but his online email still limited to 2GB, which means all the local archive emails are still in that identity folder. Yet no matter how I tried, the new database file(rebuilded) will not index all the old archived local email to the newly setup account, it shows all the local archived folder, but with no email in any folder.
So even I know all his local emails are in the office 2011 identity folder, but coundn't restore it back to the user's outlook anymore.
Does anyone have any clue / experience on this kind of case?
