Hello Peter,

is the activation process new in Office 2003 VLK?

I want to deploy Office in our company on all clients.

That would mean that every client will activate his own installation.

In Office 2003 by example there was no activation required!

Sorry, we are talking about office 2007

I will deploy with startup scripts via gpo.

If you are deploying via GPO then there is no problem. You will enter the key a

single time and the gpo install will take care of it. BTW you always needed to enter

the key unless your Office 2003 was a copied version from the original install media

Hello Peter,

thank you for your reply.

Only one more question: Are we talking about the same?

I mean the activation the first time i start office after installation via

GPO.

Not the VLK for installation.

Presuming that the VLK (Volume License Key) is a MAK,then you need to input it the

first time when you start the installation via GPO

You can also get a very precise answer at the following link by looking up the phone
