Office 2000 problem

Still using Office 2000 on my Vista laptop. Been using it for over a year on

my laptop and it's been OK. For some reason I can no longer open any of my

word docs or excel docs. Even when I try to open a new doc it shows the page

then immediately closes the page down. Tried uninstalling MS office and

reinstalling it but still have the same problem. Any suggestions would be

greatly appreciated.
 
Have you considered changing normal.dot. Rename to normal.old and try to open a doc

Hi Bernie,



If the 'Office Live' update has been installed on your system, you'll need to uninstall it - it's incompatible with Word 2000.
