My company doesn't work with another company and haven't had issues of email deliveries between any of their folks to any of our folks in the past until recently. They have one person there who when she sends a new email to us it will get flagged as spam but anytime she replies to an existing email thread it comes through okay.
For instance today,
she sent a new email, that got flagged and went to junk.
she replied to an email from Friday, that went to inbox
a different employee sent me an email with an attachment and it came to my inbox.
Right off the bat the first thing I'm noticing when comparing the headers from those three emails above is the last line of the header files.
The one being flagged spam has:
X-Microsoft-Antispam-Mailbox-Delivery: ucf:0;jmr:1;ex:0;auth:0;dest:J;ENG
20160513016)(750127)(520011016)(944506383)(944626516);
Yet the reply and the email from someone else in the company I get:
X-Microsoft-Antispam-Mailbox-Delivery: ucf:0;jmr:0;ex:0;auth:0;dest:I;ENG
20160514016)(750127)(520011016)(944506383)(944626516);
So I'm seeing the JMR is hitting 1 on the new emails and going dest: J (assuming Junk)
vs. the other two emails getting a JMR of 0 and going dest: I (assuming Inbox)
The other thing I'm noticing is a few lines up from that, the one that gets Spam has:
X-Ms-Exchange-Organization-Scl: 6
Where as the ones that don't get trapped has:
X-Ms-Exchange-Organization-Scl: 1
Can provide more if it might help troubleshoot why this occurs and if the fix needs to be here on our Exchange or over there on theirs.
THANKS!
