On 28th September 2020, Nvidia company has released the new Geforce DCH based & STANDARD based WHQL driver v456.55 for Windows 10 64 bit only.
In the month of September 2020, I successfully installed the latest DCH Beta WHQL driver v 460.15 via a normal method on windows 10 64bit v2004 build no 19042.508 running with Nvidia Geforce 940MX 2GB VRAM GDDR5.
I would recommend you install the customized and certified driver for your laptop GPU model from the laptop manufacturer support site only.
I would recommend you install the customized and certified driver for your desktop GPU model from the OEM manufacturer support site only.
I am sharing only Generic driver links in this post.

$$$ Multiple G-SYNC Compatible monitors were removed from the G-SYNC Compatible list in the driver. [3130059].
$$$ There is a slight increase in the Windows Event Log CPU utilization. [200659659].
