On 17th September 2020, Nvidia company has released the new Geforce DCH based & STANDARD based WHQL driver v456.38 for Windows 10 64 bit only.
On Last week of September 2020, I successfully installed the latest driver BETA v 460.15 via a normal method on windows 10 64bit v2004 build no 19042.508 running with Nvidia Geforce 940MX 2GB GDDR5
I would recommend you install the customized and certified driver for your laptop GPU model from the laptop manufacturer support site only.
I would recommend you install the customized and certified driver for your desktop GPU model from the OEM manufacturer support site only.
