Nvidia graphics drive no longer on laptop after windows update, cant reinstall as I get an error message (in the question).

The error message is: "geforce game ready driver installation can't continue, this nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows" on geforce experience. My laptop (Predator PH315-53) usually has an intel and Nvidia graphics driver, but after a windows update my Nvidia one was no longer there in the device manager. This makes it so I can't plug my laptop into an external screen like a monitor, and I'm not able to run games I could in the past. I tried to manually install the Nvidia driver off of their website but I got a similar error message there. Any help would be app
