Notepad will not open in Windows 11

I have a brand new Windows 11 HP laptop. I need to transfer some information from my old laptop that was stored in Notepad. When I go to open the file, nothing happens. I can not open Notepad at all. I have completed the below steps and it still will not work.1: Reset application2: Repaired application3: Removed and reinstalledI have also followed at the step provided in the community and the steps provided in one of the posts that link to this page: How to Fix Notepad Not Opening on Windows 11. Nothing has worked. Please tell me how to fix this.
