Notepad on W11 asking me to save all files upon closing at random

I like to open Notepad, open a new tab, write some notes and close it without manually saving for the day. The next day I open it and it will just resume everything. However at random when I am closing Notepad, it will ask me to save all the tabs that aren't saved. I have in settings "When Notepad starts" to be "Continue previous session". Why is it so inconsistent? Windows Notepad 11.2410.20.0
