Not updating Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus

It’s been about a week, and i still can’t update the security patch- it’s stuck at 0%. I keep getting notifications saying, “virus protection is out of date.” I’ve already tried troubleshooting, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the issue.This is the message I get: Protection definition update failed.Error code:: 8024402cAn unexpected problem occurred while checking for updates.
