Not receiving verification code on my hotmail

I have got a new PC and signed in with my Microsoft account to keep everything synchronized. I forgot to set up a passkey, and the screen locked.I am now forced to enter the code that was sent to my hotmail account. However, I have checked everything; I did not receive it. It is now impossible for me to login to my PC; I do not have any other option (not even to enter my accounts password).
