Not detecting network adapter or allowing me to install drivers after installing windows on an SSD

Hi, so I built my PC a few years ago and installed windows from a USB on a hard-drive. Yesterday I decided to switch windows to my SSD (using the same USB from years ago), and now after it has finished installing, I can't connect to the internet as it did not install the network drivers. I have tried to download the network driver I need (I have a gigabit E2400 wired network adapter) and it says I need to update windows first, which I am unable to do as I have no network drivers.Before I installed windows on the SSD I reinstalled it on my hard-drive, and everything is working fine, so it is no
