Not allowed to configure sound output device [Windows 11]

Hi, I am trying to configure my headphones to switch between stereo, surrond 5.1, surrond 7.1. I have seen several videos of people having the option to configure their sound output devices on both Windows 10 & 11, however I do not get the option.Might anyone know why the option is greyed out and missing from my system?Screenshot of issue:
