Not able to use my wireless keyboard with new dongle

Hi. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and the connector (dongle) stopped working. Then I bought a new one and tried to use it, but Windows says the driver is incorrect. When I try to update this driver, windows says the driver is already the best for it. I need help on this matter. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
