Not able to play a installed game (age of empires 4) after a windows update

I purchased and installed the age of empires 4 on last November and was playing on my windows 11 pc till today. But after an windows update, I am not able to play the game. Clicking on the game or play button is not helping and I am getting a error for GameLaunchHelper.exe "A Device Attached to the System Is Not Functioning"

Whenever, I play Age of empires 4, I get the Windows Error Reporting and the Game crashes and I end up on the deskstop.
