Norton Security Incompatible With Windows 10?

I finally gave-in to Microsoft's MANY communications (so annoying) STRONGLY "advising" me to upgrade from Windows8.1 to Win dows10. Now my Norton Security cannot be used or even opened. The files still appear to be in my "programs". But, it sure looks to me as if Microsoft has disabled Norton Security in order to enable Windows Defender. Is this a Microsoft issue? Or is it a Norton issue (of course each points at the other for a solution)?. Imagine that!
