No way to input PIN - locked out of surface after MS update

[Windows 10]

Updated MS Surface Pro 7 a few days ago. Now I am not able to login. It asks for PIN, but no screen to input PIN. Have tried the hard power off. Same issue. Have tried the power button and up volume. Same issue. No option to connect to internet, only airplane mode. Only power option in bottom right is to shutdown or restart. Tried both. Same issue. Please help. Unable to login at all. Seems like this is a widespread issue after updates. Thank you!
