No Start menu and Edge won't load

I booted up my PC running Windows today - as I do every day - and there's something wrong with it. I don't have a start menu when I click on the windows icon; and Edge won't load. Other software - like Microsoft Lists - that uses Edge, won't load either.I tried rebooting, no change.I reinstalled Edge, no change.Any help would be appreciated.
