No sound from earbuds after troubleshooting scratchy sounds from Laptop speakers, Windows 10

Windows 10 OS. Dell Inspiron.Initially, I was getting scratchy sounds from the laptop speakers but it was working well with the earbuds connected through bluetooth. I am using wireless earbuds connected through Bluetooth. I tried using wired earphones connecting directly to the laptop - I get the scratchy sounds.But now, I did troubleshooting the issue with the speakers (without earbuds or other devices) by following this post (Redirecting to Start > Settings >
