No hibernate option in custom advanced power settings

I want to set up a custom power scheme so that my Dell Inspiron hibernates rather than sleeps after a set amount of time. Hibernate is an option in the "manual" Power Off button options. It is also an option-setting for when I close my lid, but it does not appear when I expand the <Sleep> options in advanced settings for creating a custom power scheme. How do I get hibernate to be an available option there? Thanks for your help.
