Hello,

Since i installed Windows 10 (build 10.0.18363.535) 64-bit on my new PC, after every startup i have to disable and re-enable the Ethernet controller multiple (sometimes once, sometimes five) times before being able to connect to the network, rendering me unable to communicate with any device on the network,
and thus the PC won't connect to Internet either.

I'm using a MSI B450 Mortar MAX motherboard with a Realtek RTL8111H-CG ethernet controller.

In Network Connections, i sometimes read "Unidentified Network" under the Ethernet connection, other times simply "No Internet". In both cases, i can't communicate with any device on the network (ping, connect to router/switch management page, etc)

I tried to:

1) Check if the problem is created by the Router/Switch, but other devices on the network work fine and have no problem;

2) Boot from a Linux distribution, and the problem never occurs: so it's definitely not an hardware problem;

3) Install the drivers from my motherboard manufacturer's website, but the same problem occurs;

4) Do a network reset and let windows automatically install the controller drivers, but the same problem occurs;

5) Disable DHCP and connect with a manual configuration, same problem occurs;

6) Use Windows Troubleshooting. Did not fix anything.

Regards,

Bondi Simone
