1) So ... originally paid for Windows 8 (later 8.1) Pro with Windows Media Center option

2) M$ has now decided it doesn't want to pay for EPG (Electronic Program Guide) that's integral to scheduling/recording TV programming

3) Lots (millions?) of us now have a "crippled" feature because M$ saw a way to increase profit/cut costs - by arbitrarily removing functionality!

4) IMO Kinda rude & obnoxious - also kinda typical of M$ (motto: "Profits Uber Alles!")

5) Pop-up on WMC Guide page says "Guide's gone ... find another provider" (words to that effect) along with a [not-so] helpful "Get more information" button:

6) When you select that, what M$ considers "helpful" appears in a browser window (see Below)

7) At no time does any proffered "alternate EPG provider" appear to be referenced - or Linked - anywhere on webpage!

8) One of the listed topics does repeat "Find another provider" Again, typical [non]"help" from M$ - for an issue they created!

9) Guess I should be used to a finger in the eye from M$ by now ... just wish it wasn't the middle one!! ...... ARGGGGGH!!
