Problem: no devices are showing in the "Devices and Printers" screen. I have installed a Canon Printer/Scanner (twice), and a Bluetooth mouse, and both are working, but neither show. I've been searching for a fix for this, but nothing already out there has worked for me.

In Device Manager, "Printer queues" is missing. My bluetooth mouse driver is showing (HID-compliant mouse), and so is the Canon scanner. But no printers, ANYWHERE. (I also selected View, Show hidden devices, so this is the whole list.) ALSO: there are no "unknown" devices showing.

BUT: when I print from any software package. The printers I've installed are available, AND THEY WORK. I can print to the Canon. I can print to Adobe PDF. I can scan from the Canon. I am using my bluetooth mouse while writing this post. This is a screen-shot of the "select printer" pull-down in MS Word:

Lastly, Services: I've stopped and started, and set all these services to "Automatic"
- Print spooler
- Plug and Play
- Bluetooth Device Monitor
- Bluetooth Media Service
- Bluetooth OBEX Service
- Bluetooth Support Service
PLEASE HELP. It appears that I am NOT the only person having this problem. This is obviously a Windows bug that should be fixed.
