No Cameras Attached Error after recent microsoft update

After a recent Microsoft update, the camera on my dell xps13 9315 does not work. I have tried everything - ensuring on in bios setup, on in privacy settings, uninstalling and then reinstalling new drivers, multiple reboots etc. Nothing works. Error code is "we can't find your camera, 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>". When I open device manager, it does show my camera (Intel(R) AVStream Camera), and when I click on it in device manager and go to events, it shows this in the information notes for the camera: "Device DISPLAY\INT3480\4&37eaf7c9&0&UID144512 requires further i
