The sound on my lenovo x220 has stopped working, Ive been trying to fix this for months without success.
WIndows 7 Ultimate, there is a ton of posts online with the same issue but none have solved the problem for me.
I have sound through headphones but nothing through the speakers.
Things Ive read and tried:
Installing latest drivers, rolling back drivers, disabling sound enhancements, letting windows choose drivers, updating BIOS, This has been done for sound in device manager and also been done for game and video controllers in device manager.
Ive also got the hardware ID's, searche for them and updated their drivers all to no avail.
I still only have sound through the headphones and nothing through the speakers.
I really dont know what else to do.
