No Audio Driver Detected and No Sound, Video, and Game Controller tab in device manager.

I have tried everything. No audio device is detected. I've tried to download the drivers and the download fails every time - though it seems I have the SW audio driver folder on my computer. I have NO sound if I don't plug into a speaker, and I travel often and can't be plugging into speakers everywhere.
