Night Light turns off if monitor is "disconnected" due to switching inputs

I have multiple computers connected to my monitor. My main system (Win10) is connected with Display Port. When I switch the input on my monitor to another input/computer and then switch back to my main system on Display Port, Night Light has turned itself off.I have to manually turn it back on even though I'm in the night light scheduled time.How can I fix this?
