Hi, everyone.
Yesterday I bought a set of wireless earphones called the TaoTronics Soundliberty 53 (TaoTronics TT-BH053) and ran into issues when I tried to pair it using Bluetooth with my laptop, which was my main intended use. Every time I tried, my computer gave me the message "We didn't get any response from the device. Try connecting again."
I know it is not an issue with the earphones as I have had no trouble connecting them to other devices via Bluetooth.
These are the following solutions that I have tried:
1. Updating Windows.
2. Updating my Bluetooth drivers - Potentially did this wrong. Feel free to give me a step-by-step guide on how to do it so I can tell whether I did it properly. I may ask stupid questions, haha.
3. Disconnecting all USB devices and the charging cord from my laptop, shutting it down for 2 minutes and then trying to connect with my computer remaining unplugged.
4. Connecting through Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
5. Checked if my computer's Bluetooth is compatible with the earphones Bluetooth - I'm pretty sure it is, but maybe I got confused so we can try this again too.
*Will update if I remember any solutions I have forgotten to mention that I have tried and failed.
One solution I have not yet tried is resetting my computer. I understand that resetting will keep my personal files, but delete all apps that did not originally come with the computer. So I am hesitant to do that. I will try it if there's nothing else that can be done.
