New Windows Media Player not allowing transfer of files to my Sony Walkman mp3 player.

I've a sony walkman mp3 player. When i tried to upload music from windows media player to my mp3 player i would not comes up or allow me to transfer the files. It was working before but now it's not. Where in the options can I get the means to correct this issue?
