15/15 failed update attempts.
I just installed vista home premium, first time i've ever used vista... and
it gives error 8007007A. Quick google and forum search shows that this isn't
commoon.
680i chipset
e6600 intel processor
6600gtx 620 mb version (as i recall)
vista is on a sata drive, 320mb. xp is on a raid-0 of two 500gb drives.
I'd like to be able to run vista's updates, expecially since I heard about
an animated .gif exploit which can totally nuke the system via a website. (if
someone put that up)
I tried going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com, it just tell me to use the
vista button. it finds the updates, tries to install them, but they all fail.
Any suggestions would be great!
