New Microsoft 365 Business Standard Account not recognised

I have added a new user via the Microsoft Admin Center and have been able to log onto this account (Microsoft 365 Business Standard) via a browser. In testing, I have been able to log into the account and gain access to it via a browser and have successfully send and receive emails etc.A new Windows tablet device is not recognizing the account ("That Microsoft account doesn't exist....").
