New hdd not able to initialize

My new hdd is not able to initialize i.m using the tuf gaming b550 plus wifi 2 motherboard and have windows already installed on a ssd. Normaal when you need to initialize a device the color is a black bar and for the ones already initialized a blue but the hdd does have any color. When i initialize it ask me mbr or gpt(tried the both) he says incorrect function
